Like a refreshing cold glass of water on a hot summer day, there is something equally refreshing for our heart and souls. Jesus knew this when He was talking with the Samaritan woman at the well. In John chapter 4, He says, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” This is what we want for every child and family that is a part of our church to experience - a life transforming encounter with Jesus.

At RSBC we believe that by teaching our children from the Bible, they will be able to know who God is. As they get to know Him, they will be able to respond to God as He calls them to Himself. We want our children to encounter Jesus through God’s Word so that they will surrender their lives to Christ in obedience, resulting in a desire to grow spiritually, teaching them to be intentional about reaching out to-, and being an example for their friends, family, peers, and neighbors.

We don’t think our children are the future of the church…We think they ARE the church!

Our goal is to come alongside parents and intentionally teach our children about Christ, so they can respond to the Gospel, and be transformed by God’s Spirit. We want to Help them be obedient to His word, and equip them to live out what they are taught, encouraging them to tell others about Jesus.

We believe that our Children's Ministry is a vital ministry in the church.  At RSBC we believe it is our duty and privilege to come along side the parents in teaching their children to fear and love the Lord.  We do this by providing opportunities to learn (Bible Drill, Sunday School, Sunday Evening Teaching Series) serve (Children's choir, nursing home visits) and have fellowship (monthly family events).

If you want to be a part of a ministry that is kingdom-minded and desires to see the next generation of young people be strong and committed followers of Christ then we hope you look at RSBC as a place for your children to GROW.
